What's funny is how many of you love to assume things and make things up in your minds. Stop hating dude and hop off. You don't know what your talking about. Maybe you should mind your business and stop trolling. Don't throw this thread off topic. Enjoy your day! :) -Mark

I'm not spamming anything. Just posting facts. Your links back those facts up. Sorry they bother you. Nothing I can do for you though, don't look I guess. :) -Mark That's what I was thinking. I will confirm this theory with my heat gun once the loctite has cured. I don't see it getting as...

The facts I posted in my earlier posts, which anyone can find with a quick search on google, conclude the jb kwik is not ideal since it's heat resistant up to 300°f. The jb weld is heat resistant to 500°f (600°f max). Knowing this, which one seems more logical to use? It has failed on 3 people...

I'm trying to make it better? How so? The jb kwik failed on me. If it didnt, I wouldn't be looking for another alternative. I'm sorry you feel that way though. "Jb weld" is different from "jb kwik" as you have listed on your tutorial. I agree that jb weld is the preferred epoxy to use for this...

I did as instructed on the epoxy and the mixture. After doing more research, I came to the conclusion that JB Kwik is not ideal for this mod although some of you may have no issues with it. I vape at 400°f so that's probably why my mod came apart. Trust me when I tell you, I did everything...

Thank you for your concern. However, I feel differently and I will update everyone on the results. You don't like the loctite? Don't feel comfortable using it? No problem, do as you please bro. If the loctite works with no issues, I don't see what's wrong with it? Your assuming and not stating...

Don't forget that the epoxy is on the outside of the seam so the temps aren't the actual temps of the vape. Loctite short term as you stated says 302°f which should be adequate enough imo. A session for me lasts 8 min, sometimes 10. I will use my infared heat gun I use for my bearded dragons...

I will give another update in a few hours after I get off work. I will even attempt to use it if I see it's cured enough. Once cured however, the loctite is harder than the jb weld. I know from my past experience with it. This epoxy is beyond strong. I wanted to use it at first but I figured I'd...

UPDATE on the "muzzmod". I find the "jb weld kwik" epoxy not to be reliable to be honest. My adapter quickly came clean off the plastic piece with the jb weld still on the glass once it heated up. I normally dont vape under 390° as I go for effect and the taste is still there (many times better...

Not sure why they chose to treat me differently but I did let them know the inconvenience this has caused me and I asked the person to put themselves in my shoes. I also let them know it's embarrassing that this button defect has been occurring since day 1 on their units and it hasn't been...

SB just sent me a tracking # of my brand new replacement crafty :) They told me to put just the heating unit in the box and send it back with the label that will come with the new unit. They were quick to respond, but when I have questions they don't care. Still not thrilled with their CS. Any...

Nice tombstone lol. I actually got the crafty to work again. The button just decided to work when I attempted to turn it on about 2 hours after the defect occured. It acted up again shortly after and even gave me a weird vibration I never felt before. It was as if it was hesitating and didn't...

It takes 90 seconds for my crafty to warm up. I find it very adequate for my needs. My mighty warms up faster, about 50 seconds. Both my units are less than 1 month old so that may be why. Well, now my crafty wont warm up at all because it just bit the dust about 20 min ago! My button stopped...

My crafty just bit the dust! 14 hours in and not even 1 month later and my button failed! I was in the middle of a session and noticed the button not responding to any inputs. I emailed SB, they should be a help now. Thank god I got a mighty to back me up.... -Mark

I don't understand what your saying but it seems like your trashing the crafty and saying the solo is better? I used to be a hardcore solo user and then got the air when It was released. I still have both units to this day and I can tell you the crafty blows both units out the water...

Yup, we think a like lol -Mark It's not really that much cleaning. If it's not that dirty then cleaning will only take a few minutes and no effort at all. With the iso its so simple but now I switched to boiling water (much better imo) and I still clean it just as frequent and enjoy it. I...

Tell me about it lol. I was amazed when I opened it the first time. I almost immediately wanted to write it off and put it away somewhere I'll never take it out from. It seemed ridiculously huge, but I decided to try it since I have it anyway and you actually get used to it. It does a great job...
