Just got my 3rd crafty from Storz today. Looks like quite a few improvements over the last one that died on me. Serial is now CY0CNxxx. I missed it quite a bit, and it took me a while to mail it back to them for replacement. I was disheartened with how quickly my 2nd one died at only 30 hours...

Crafty is back again!

I thought about that, but the size /form factor of the crafty is perfect for my use. I'm gonna send my 2nd one back and hope the 3rd one is the charm. I was at serial #19xxx, up from #2xxx , wonder what I'll get this time.

I'm at 89 hours and sipping away as we speak. I have version 2.04 , serial in the 2000's, so one of the early units. It's been flawless so far... I echo kaptan's advice.

LOL, my first thought was no plug in as well, but Vapekush's description makes it seem like he will need a commercial quality vape (if there is such a thing). The Volcano can handle massive groups and probably everything else you can throw at it.

From your description it looks like you need a Volcano. IMO it is the undisputed king of group sessions. Make a big bag, and pass around. You could probably leave it on all day long, and fill bag after bag until; you run out of herbs. It is very efficient this way, and pretty much bullet-proof...

YES!, Being able to walk around, and go about your daily activities with a bag full of vapour. Priceless!

I use the solid valve, which did not come with the fine screens, I ordered those from S&B, and they are a much finer mesh and keep things a bit cleaner overall. They are pricey, but I have not seen screens with finer mesh. 6 is usually a starting temp for me, and I end up at 7.5. Lower temps...

I use the Volcano as a daily and find the crafty to be the perfect complement to it. The cano gets "me" higher than the crafty, but YMMV. The crafty is one of the most frugal vapes I've used. The cano is very efficient as well, especially in groups of 2 or more, but it can be a bit of a hog...

Are you using the fine screens? This always helps keep particulates down in the bags. Also what temps do you have the cano set to? I don't think trying to slow down the pump would make much of a difference in bag harshness. I've not heard of anyone trying this before.

73 hours. 3/4 filled bowl with liquid pad. 19 C - 179 C = 2:32. Almost the same as when I timed it around 20 hours.

I agree here. I almost never run the Cano at 9, the vapor is so thick I can chew it. Even with really crappy herb you should still be getting thick vapor at anything above 7.5 IMO.

I believe the crafty ABV gets darker due to the much more prominent conduction effect of the metal ring in the bowl.

I Vape a half bowl in about 2-3 mins. I like heavy hits. Full bowls will take me a bit longer maybe 6-7 mins, but I've always finished the bowl in one session. Well ,the first time I timed it, there was about 20 hours on it, and hasn't changed in the next 50 hours of use.

Just hit 70 hours and it's been flawless so far. Battery life is consistent @ 3 full bowls per charge or 6 half bowls. Heart up time has not changed either. 20C -180 C , takes 2:30. Both my S&B products have been nothing but reliable, like two really good friends!
