I also use a Santa Cruz Shredder grinder for my initial grind, but the finishing grinder is still helping a lot for me. Also, I've noticed you can fit a lot more herb into the bowl the finer you grind it. I can get nearly half a gram while filling only 1/2 to 3/4 of the bowl.
