    Tabletop Bong anyone?

It's like talking to the horses, it's never a problem until they start replying.

    Phase3 Vaporizers

In my experience, every time I change the screen position in the bowl, I usually need to adjust the temp by about 10–20°F to compensate. That said, shifting the screen often ends up affecting more than just temp — things like heat soak time, how the bowl’s packed, and even draw speed can all...

Adding something that might keep me from burning myself. No Way, I need that possibility to get rolling in the morning when I wake and bake.

    Phase3 Vaporizers

Learned this the hard way—burned a couple fingers when setting up a tight new coil with a slightly used Phase3 ZX head. If your coil feels overly snug right out of the box, don’t worry—that’s common. But there’s a better way to handle it. First, heat the coil up fully before inserting the head...

    Herb Grinders

If I'm chasing flavor or fine-tuning a new vape, I stick to using my fingers or a pair of manicure scissors.

1 3/8" from the coil to the start of the handle, if I were to redo it I would probably go with a 1 1/2".

    Phase3 Vaporizers

Hey Mr. Grumpy Using the highest stock bowl position as the base, adding a layer of 3mm balls (x7) and a second screen to top off the stack does a number of things. This moves the load closer to the heater outlet, which lowers cooking temperatures and adds a bit more draw restriction and...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

I went down the ball size and material trail with other ballers, but not with the ZX. The stock balls are good enough that addressing other management and performance approaches was quicker and easier.

Hybrid Ball Vape: OHW, Screwball, or other?

I like the Rouge Wax Works approach to hybrid heating, their 14 mm quartz cap is very efficient, inexpensive and the taste is not shabby.

    Phase3 Vaporizers

I appreciate the one knob control, the little buttons on my other PIDs are just too small to meet my preferences. Performance wise, they all work.

Using a cheap Chinese caliper in the hands of a 74-year-old operator, it measured 14.27 mm.

    Phase3 Vaporizers

I sat the new ZX bowl screen at its shallowest position, then added seven 4 mm quartz balls, and a cover screen. I am getting a slight but noticeable improvement in taste.

    Phase3 Vaporizers

I have big hands, so a little extra handle length and girth is good. I cut an old whip to the desired length, split it lengthwise, and cord-wrapped it all together. For the stand, I used a 6" terracotta flower pot with a 24/40 lab glass extension secured to the bottom of the pot with epoxy. To...

    O rings

One way is to measure and buy the size you need. That way, you don't end up with o-rings you don't need and may never use. That said, for a mixed assortment check Amazon. T1

Solo 3 User : WOHW Ball Vape ?

I run small loads (.03 g to .05 g) through all the ball vapes I have. Tolerance creep is the same as most vapes, if one doesn't load the bowl, one can't vape it.

Joint addict hoping to make the switch! What should I get?

I use The Rouge Wax Works 14 mm quartz and glass cap when looking for close to combustion hits but with better extraction at a lower PID controlled temperature. Price wise, it is within your target range.

**Ball vape comparison megathread** Compare your balls.

For big, strong rips one can't discount volume. I use a Cloud Connoisseur, Omega configured as a diffuser in that role. For flavor, the ZX is hard to beat. The base design, selection of the zircon material and precision manufacturing all come together to provide ample opportunities for tasty...
