Is there any advantage to having it that way or is it just aesthetics?

They're very minor scratches, just bought some beeswax. I think that will do the trick.

Accidentally knocked my TM2 unit off my desk yesterday. Checked the inner glass stem and it's unscathed. Checked for rattling in case the glass around the heater broke, but didn't hear anything. Am I all set or should I open it to make sure the heater glass isn't broken?

Basically it fell in there, in the tiny space right under the latch. I did try compressed air and using the brush, and I can't see it now. Anyway the unit still works so if it's still in there or not, I'm not concerned.

Got the IQC and love it so far. However, I think I might have gotten a small piece of flower stuck in the bottom of my unit between the metal bottom under the hinge and the case. I tried plucking it out, but I'm not sure if I removed it or pushed it further in. Is this a big deal?
