Hammer top is on/off. Like light switch. I find I can feather it easily. Just can't forget it stays on. Oil will be dumped.

I agree. My 8 rocks on coil set ups but HeRc, it warms up slower. My touch button I don't like it either. Takes a bit to heat up from my experience. The hammer top is best IMO.
