Thanks, that's a fair reply. They are using a dirt cheap microchip with a few simple control algorithms on it. It has an algorithm to measure & adjust the temp, one to shut itself off when it tilts or tips, and it has one to dim the LCD-screen's brightness based on ambient light conditions...
