@vapviking That won't work because the "glass screen" isn't anything more than several thru-holes through a thick piece of glass wall. An unlidded capsule would cause matter to be distributed into the glass-bead chamber. There IS a screen up at the top after vapor passes through the beads...

I shall add further to the unnecessary stuff among the 1000 pages of otherwise useful information There are myriad types of stems, but I like the glass-bead filled accessory stem that came with it. It has just one screen up at the mouthpiece end to keep the beads together, but the bottom...

Thank you... Now I have more to study; didn't know you can choose "flat" or "basket"... and that it depends on the stem being used. I'll continue to read here. Only 937 pages to go. :bang:

Hello gang.... I'm working through VAS again, one year after a good run with Venty. Lots of folks have had so many problems with it but I got lucky with no issues for an entire year. Looking at TM2 for the pure convection aspect, and wonder if anyone can answer the following about the screens...

I happen to love the Ti capsules. I have had the one-time experience of placing it upside-down in the oven, but thankfully no damage getting it out. I use them with a 1/2" screen over enough material for a good 2 or 3 pulls at 210ºC. Once the clouds are gone, the ABV is consistently...

Pretty much ditto on everything you wrote. Zero issues since the blocked unit was replaced in November, running it at 210ºC many times a day. I wanted to get another one as a backup since I sold my Mighty (which I regret), but I don't want to press my luck. It's strange that S&B apparently...

FWIW, I use Titanium caps and they're a whole lot better than aluminum. While it's obvious that no capsule is better for maximum thermal efficiency, after using aluminum as well glass capsules (with an aluminum lid), Titanium really gets it as close as it can get to the "no capsule"...

I was on board in November last year. I've had no issues whatsoever. I drive it with a one-hitter setup (capsules) at 210ºC, about every hour or so all day long everyday. The odometer reads almost 44 hours. It's awful to see so many dissatisfied Venty owners, I hope S&B somehow pull out of...

Titanium is a better conductor that Stainless. Ti is a little more expensive, but it's also stronger. The SS caps can malform over time. The bowl size of Ti is a tad smaller than the SS caps, but it is miniscule for the purpose of "stuffing a cap". I microdose anyway, so... I bought 5 Ti caps...

It most certainly does. I'm still using about a half-full titanium capsule (0.06g) with a 1/2 inch fine SS screen pressed into the top, slightly compressing the material. Been about a month using this method, day in day out, all day, and I can't see any way to improve on this!

I had only had the Mighty+ for a little over a year when Venty came out... I prefer it overall to the Mighty, but mostly for it's ergonomics. And I have made my positive reviews of Venty known, as many of us have! For those having frustrations and negative experiences, I can relate 100%, as I...

It's dismaying and I can understand how @bellona0544 feels. Although I haven't had any issues beyond the first bricked unit, using it literally all day and evening long, every day, I'm impressed it's still working perfectly. S&B should've gotten out front and done some PR cleanup during and...

These 1/2 screens fit perfectly in the titanium capsules. The most ideal set up for microdosing. I went through the glass and the wax disc, and there is not much to improve upon at this point. The airflow is affected even less than with the discs...

Glad you still use it. Don't let it sit on the shelf. FWIW, my Venty has been a solid performer since Day 1 before bricking, and since Day 1 with the replacement unit. I use it to microdose about every hour or so all day long at 210ºC, going through about 2 full charges per day. S&B isn't...

I'm always listening to what people suggest and it's really a great place we have here. I thought I'd share that after micro-dosing using thee glass bowl and aluminum capsule cover, I’ve switched over to using a Firefly Extract Pad and a titanium capsule, placing the pad on top of a small...

I realize they aren't available in the US so they're expensive.. but I obtained a couple extra and could part with one. I thought they would be fragile but they're quite robust. Message me...

Ditto... even at 210 I have no real need to cool down the vapor. I've used this about 10 times a day since I bought it, and I have only good feedback on it. I hope that's not anomalous and that it's the experience of most users.

I've been happy with my Venty, still in love. Especially the microdose method. But this afternoon I had a buddy over and I used a fully filled capsule. I started it at 190º then stepped it up to 210º. I think my friend will buy a Venty. The happiest part of using Venty is that I don't find...

I obtained the glass bowls with the help of a forum member in Germany. Not sure I should volunteer him here so I DM’d you.
