Mine actually came with a screen there, but not one in the bowl so that might have been accidental. I'm gonna try putting one back there now though.

Thanks for the advice. I guess I gotta get some of those pads and/or capsules. In the meantime I'll play around some more with cotton as that has been my solution in other vaporizers, if I get some good results I'll let you know!

@Slow Draw McGraw I was wondering if you might have any tips on vaporizing hash in this unit? Would one of those dosing capsule type things be the way to go or do you have any other tips & tricks that could help? I have not yet found any very good way myself, beyond getting some insane hits...

I've had the same problem. If I put a normal vaporizer-bowl into a normal spoon pipe and smoked the whole thing, I would be way too high. Meanwhile in vaporizers that has usually been just enough. I'm using the Sticky Brick vaporizer now though and that's just a whole different league from...

Anyone got any experience using this with moroccan style non-melt solid hash? I'm loving it with dry herb, but hash seems a little more difficult. Increasing the flame size does help but I'm not getting those thick clouds out of it.

I try to move it around a little yeah. I should probably focus on draw speed and where I hold the flame. I always use it dry too :D

I just tried going a little easier on the heat and got an equally good hit as I usually get off a small amount, plus it's only slightly brown. I guess even small variances in technique will make a difference with thos one. Thanks for all the advice. Hopefully I won't stink up the place...

I fill mine up to about 1/4 to 2/4. I preheat with the tip of the inner flame touching the Lotus for around 4-5 seconds, then I inhale fairly slowly with the inner flame now hovering right above the Lotus. Should I keep heating it for a long as I inhale?

Is it normal for bowls to be done in one hit with this or am I doing it wrong? I am following the instructions from the website and I get good hits but it's nearly always dark brown or nearly black after one hit.

Well, had an insane herb+hash sandwich last night. I honestly thought it had combusted, the vapor was so thick. I got so many huge hits out of it, pretty sure it's not finished either as I had to throw in the towel. I have never seen vapor that thick, and it was completely smooth too.
