I is this dome screen the right size/orientation? Also, are there any tips for loading the stem quicker? I still fumble around with the pinch and stuff method a bit, compared to doing the same thing on an MFLB.

How much do people load in a stem? I put a dome screen inside like the ones I see posted in here, but it seems like that only leaves room for a small pinch, which comes out to about five or six pulls. Did I put the Screen in wrong? It's convex to the opening and concave to the mouth piece.

Ha! I use a flux brush on my coffee grinder, and generally keep it real clean. Seems like the Solo requires a bit more time and space to set up, use and then take down than the MFLB. Might just hang onto the MFLB for on the road use, although its starting to show its age, and I was thinking...
