I have had my Da Buddha for under a week and have noticed something similar on mine. However there is no metallic taste or any other negative impact. I am just concerned about what exactly these marks are. They do not rub off, yet I can not seem to feel mine, so it's not a crack or anything.

How hard are you hitting it? Try to hit it as lightly as possible, hitting it harder does not result in better hits. Super long soft hits, and you should get some better results.

Well I just cleaned my mouth piece. The plastic doesn't look much (if any) worse than last time I saw it. (The one attached to the herb chamber) So hopefully I won't have a problem with it breaking or melting. Now just a question, how tightly does the white mouth piece fit on your guys' tubes...
