Chasing a vaporizer that provides a "precise digital temperature control" is a fool's errand. There are too many variables. For me, it's the results and consistency that matter, and you can achieve those goals even with a torch powered vape with no digital readouts whatsoever once you learn...

The heater cover does get quite hot, especially if you're using beads. I turn mine off when I'm not using it. The SSV and DBV heat up in minutes, so I don't see the point of leaving it on.

theoretically, you might used infused milk or half and half with the tea. I've done something similar making cappuccino with infused milk.

how do you decide which vaporizers you want?

I like the blazer pb207 torch quite a bit.

I have the Silver Surfer version. Elev8 did a great job with the design. Their ruby balls heater cover and cap is a significant upgrade over my do it yourself version. It helps to have talented designers and glass blowers around.
