Just to update -- Discreet Vape has now agreed to fix the unit.

UPDATE - Andrew from Discreet Vape has reached out to say if I mail the vape to Hong Kong, he will replace the battery and upgrade the firmware.

No contest - as long as people understand the unit is not built to last and they will leave you high and dry.

I have the regular puffit and it completely crapped out after one year so just be forewarned before jumping into another unit from this manufacturer. They completely refuse to help me since I was a few days out of my warranty.

Filed rip off reports against both companies which will come up when you google their respective names. It's shitty and a last resort, but hopefully that demonstrates to them that you need to stand by your product or people WILL be made aware that you don't.
