Cool stuff. Would goin from super hot tap water to super hot cold water be enough to damage the integrity of the glass? I did this on all my other pieces, but am going to be more carrful with this new piece.
Will using to hot of water potentially break the glass?
I always feel like I'm about to drop the glass because it's so hot, and I have read of glass cracking...
I'm going to use PBW this afternoon on all my pieces, probably just going to hold it over the sink and try to keep the pbw inside...
Gloves? Chemical hazards? I'll watch the videos but this is sounding like it might be a bit much for my liking. With ISO I just shake a few times and rinse, it works for the most part ...
What do you mean by rubber stoppers? I don't have those, but I was planning on just filling up and slowly and carefully swooshing the water around for a few minutes. This piece is going to be difficult to fill up all the way.
In the past I would usually clean my daily driver once or twice a...
Thanks T.
Does this stuff leave any residue that I need to be worried about? Or should a few rinses make it be good to go?
I hated with ISO that I would have to let it evaporate...this stuff is better than ISO right?
My local shop gave me a pack of this stuff with a new bubbler I picked up. I noticed it's granular, does this stuff scratch glass ever? I see some people shake, and some people just let it soak, does shaking do a better job?
I see scratches on all of my mouthpieces around the O-Ring. Is this not normal?
I have also soaked all of them in ISO. Could that cause them to scratch out easily?
I thought if you use just ISO, that you will still have some ISO trapped inside. If it the impression after reading this thread that doing a final wash with EC would be wise...I'm confused. I just wanted the cleanest product going into my lungs and body.
That's what I thought, which is why I asked about the KISS mouthpieces. I am noticing very small grooves and scratches in the mouthpiece, around where the O-ring is. It looks like from removing and inserting the mouthpiece into the upper part of the KISS.
I can see some of the plastic that has...
Thanks! That was an article I came across too, sounds like good stuff!
When you dab it, to make it easier and not so runny, can you freeze it and break off dabs like shatter? Or is to always hard/messy to deal with?
Besides dabbing, what are good ways to use CO2 oil? I notice it is often...
I know this is an old thread, but I have some questions after reading through.
I have 14grams of ABV, and I want to make a concentrate out of it. I have never done this before, but it seems easy and safe if you avoid butane.
After reading this I'm still confused if it would be in my best...
Why does the W9 manual say not to submerse the plastic mouthpiece in ISO?
I have been doing this everytime I clean my TI-KISS carts, I submerse it over night in ISO.
Would this damage the plastics integrity, and when heated allow plastic leach into my vapor?
I am going to pick up sme CO2 oil that comes in a syringe, and also some CO2 shatter. I bought some CO2 oil before and didn't have a good experience, it became very messy and I wasted a lot. I am hoping this time around is different.
I have a omicron lite with Ti-Kiss cartridge, will that work...
I am cleaning some old Ti-Kiss carts, and I forgot that the plastic mouthpiece isn't supposed to be submersed in ISO. I have had the plastic mouthpieces in ISO for a few hours, is that going to ruin the integrity of the plastic?
Thanks.
I have some old Ti Kiss cartridges that need a good cleaning, they are like 6 months old.
The manual says not to submerse them in ISO, but isn't that the best way people clean them?
