Hey, I'm sure this sort of thing might be covered a few times in this thread but if anybody has any advice I'd like to hear it! Just got my M in the mail today, this is my first Vapcap. Instructions seem simple enough but I don't get much visible vapor. I have loaded it up fairly full of loosely...
It does not matter whether I load jusssst enough to cover the screen or I fill it up nearly to the rim of the stem, I always seem to kill a load in one hit. Sure, I could stir the darkest top layer to the bottom and go for another draw but if I hit it much longer it would basically get...
I have to say I'm digging the grooves and the recent... less traditional looking dogs? That semi square one you posted recently, the square custom you made for somebody a bit back. I'm sure it takes extra time to plan these pieces and work them but it is super cool to see these. Hope to see more...
Haha, yeah I have ended up with a mouthful of material after loading the wrong end in the dark. Has happened a couple of times with my stainless steel oversized. Never had that problem with the glass though what with it being clear; this must not have been your first stem of the day!
Guess I need to give my J Hook some more time in the game, I've only used it once or twice and otherwise have been 100% on that oversized stainless stem. Love it!
What! These are completely fucking awesome! Really cool idea, I'm definitely going to consider this. Like, my dimmer works OK for what it is and I don't often fiddle with it, so it is not as though I NEED it but then again maybe I'd screw around with my dimmer more if I had a cool readout...
Well coming from using only the nylon/stainless stem for about a month, it is either way more efficient or my technique is better suited to it or something. It seems that the larger screen real estate affords more even heat against justttt enough material to cover the screen versus that same...
Received my oversized stainless stem and gosh, it is working so well that I have not yet tried out the J Hook I ordered.
@underdog It is really cool to see these different stem options showing up. Any plans to fabricate any alternate oversized stems in the near future? I'd sure be interested...
This is precisely why I just ordered one - usually not super clumsy but have destroyed all my glass options. Have the giant SS plus a J Hook on the way, so if i fumble more glass at least I'll have options with the stainless and with my existing nylons. I don't think the weight will bother me...
Yes, I am totally keen on that load clearing directly post hit so as to dislodge it more easily, but when it starts to stick even then? Sounds like I need to grab a small torch, I'll give that a whirl some time.
I got my UD five months ago. And what glorious months they've been! I don't think I've strayed from my dog a single day since it has arrived, it has been a superb purchase overall. It felt like a light tap at the time but, uh, odds are quite close to 100% that I was thoroughly vaked. It was...
Forgive my lack of knowledge on titanium joint stems... these are only suitable for use in conjunction with a water device or such, right? These look super cool but I'm assuming are too short to be utilized as a direct draw, yeah?
All this talk of different stems has me wanting to perhaps place an order... probably a good idea since I'd save a couple bucks what with the sale. I had been using the gong very frequently until I imploded my lovely bong into uselessness. At that point I switched to the thick glass direct draw...
I suppose it really depends on what you are looking for...
I have only really really passed through and not spent much time there but Eugene, OR seems like a very friendly place to live. It is a college town and extremely liberal, so if that does not work for your disposition it might not be...
