Hello.
Can anyone describe (pictures would be amazing) how the Herborizer TI heater works?
Is that whole metal thing inside the glass the heater? Is there a coil or ceramic rod inside the metal thing?
I really don't know but would like to. If you know please share, and thank you.
Hello.
I am trying to make a desktop vape that uses a coil (possibly multiple) as a heating element. My biggest piece of missing information right now is how to heat up a coil using the power from a wall. I'm looking for explanations of how this is accomplished, as well as sources for where I...
Nope. I use the standard glass with 1 metal screen the most. I also use a wood stem from Dan with the wood chamber, and lastly I have a mistvape cooling stem with a metal screen. I like them all. I use the cooling stem the least right now because the adding cooling makes it harder to feel and...
Thanks everyone.
I think the super wide open airflow on the nomad actually gives me trouble. I guess because there is no feeling of resistance until you feel the vapor thickening up for me it's sometimes hard to even know what draw speed I am using. Sometimes I can't even tell if I am really...
I have the chambers but for me they get really loose after a session and become fiddly. So I’ve been tending to prefer just the metal screen because it stays put and is easier to handle.
I hold till it gets hot / feel resistance then pulse.
Are you pulsing from the very start?
Any tips for getting a more even vape on the high heater?
I feel like I’m wasting the herb on the outer green and yellow ring. But stirring this vape is a pain especially for the 1 mediocre hit it results in.
Please let me know if you’re getting fully even vaping with the high heater, and how...
@SquirrelMaster I have a wood stem from Dan and would recommend it. It's nice having an unbreakable stem. Also it's nice having an all wood feel and experience.
Go for it if you have the extra funds, it was only 60 dollars I think so it's really worth it.
Yeah I have emailed them, because I thought the same as you.
And yeah I can do some comparisons with the old guy at some point.
I was curious so I took the screen out.
Seems like a manufacturing mistake, just a super thin piece of metal, likely aluminum. Not sure what the point of it is...
I'm sure the screen comes out it is the same chamber screen as my old mighty. I don't really want to try because I have no need, and it is always a pain to mess with that screen.
The plastic could be different, I'll have to compare to old one and report back.
Also the walls are still the...
Anyone with a newer mighty also have this bar in the heater?
Just received warranty replacement from a 2 year old unit and that bar definitely wasn't there on my old one.
Yeah I'm using Molicel P26A . I don't know much about batteries but they are good and what Dan recommended. Make sure to get a changer with a display so you can know your voltages.
Also yeah when Dan and I were designing this sleeve a lot of the inspiration came for the first post on this...
@Copacetic Do you stir when using the high heater?
And good advice I'm going to try the high heater, and I definitely am overthinking some things.
the wood is crotch figured walnut by the way. Its lovely. I'm pretty glad to have got the nomad 1 I love the squareness of it, and that I can...
I've been feeling guilty for not posting here. Got my Nomad A week ago. Probably the longest I've waited for any item purchased, it's been close to 2 years since I sent the payment. That's not really important, as long as you've got other vapes you like during the wait, and once you get it...
I'm on that last of Nomad 1 train with Y'all too. Best strategy is to forget about it and enjoy other vapes. Each email makes that harder, but I never want to rush Dan so waiting is fine. My sleeve is done just needs finish, and then it's only the wooden stem, so I think it will be pretty soon...
Yeah 1 in 1000 but before this website and goes away I better give it a try.
Also do you know if Dan will still make charcoal I can buy, on the chance I find an Okin?
Thanks, message me if you actually wanna sell me your Okin.
Cheers.
That'd be a cool idea for Dan to do, Just a little black dot or line on the shell of the high heater. Not that it matters too much I think theres a way to tell by the spiral of the heater.
