    For the button, at least on my Nomad 1 you want to press it until you feel and hear the click of metal on metal. Just play around finding that, and once you find it, note it, and from there you always know what you need.

    Yeah you won't need a timer for long, after a while you get extremely second nature with it and can do everything by feel.
