Did you ever nail down the timing on the SiC using torch heating @KittensTasteYummy ? By nailing down I mean getting the heating cycle down to a fine art? The more I read about SiC, sapphire and d-nail products the more I long to get some of it in my life. Currently I dab using Quartz purely...

I tried this last night. Heated with the tube half inserted until i hit about 160c then inserted fully and continued to heat until 175c - 180c it nearly wiped me out, some incredible and powerful vapours got produced so much so I couldn't intake it all, one wild night ;).

What temps are you guys using for your SiC from a standard enail setup for the best flavour? I won't be using a enail just a torch but with a infra red thermometer I can or could attain similar results. Does anyone else use a infra red thermometer to check the temps?

Just contact Ed direct @Gray Area you won't regret it, had a week off the S3 last week as I got a da Vinci IQ mostly for the missis vaping needs but needed a full on test run to see what it can do, really good device truth be told but it's no supreme......... nothing competes on the supreme V3...

What's everyones preferred temp when using the IQ or do you all favour the smart path pre set temp stepping? I have a pre owned IQ coming soon (next week infant) and I'm looking for a seasoned IQ vaper to chime in and give me a foot up. A lot obviously depends on the user and there preference...

Seen these on Dh gate yesterday, like the form factor as I still have my V1 Dabbie from vapefiend and use it on occasion with its standard Ti nail. While it works perfectly fine I find the whole dabbing on it quite clumsy and pre loading is the easier way to go (not dabbing then tho are you?)...

Personally no i won't be going back to the standard tubes as I'm a flavour chaser more so than a cloud chaser so even if my vapours Is a little thinner (which on the first extraction at 170c tends to be) I'm still all over that. Part of it might be style over function, being able to see the end...
