I wonder if he’ll switch to the FW8 in June or take more 7 orders first...? :sherlock:
I assume it’s going to be a small but positive evolution of the 7, so waiting may be good at this point, but I am a little sad I didn’t pick up a second 7 while they were easy to get. I know several other...
@Ed's TnT made the original wooden VapCap stems (along with the Woodscents logs and other cool stuff), so I’m sure he could make you something good. :)
Try longer. I can get a lot of vapor from a slow draw, but I can get it from a faster draw - even if I start before it’s up to temp - as long as it’s long enough. Vapor production seems to ramp up, probably as the ceramic gets more fully heat soaked.
If you can’t draw long enough, you can...
I think I remember more reports of v1 being too hot, so they may have adjusted their target to keep the hotter running units from being too hot. That would also leave the cooler ones too cool. The vertical position of the coil can make a big difference. That’s one reason I prefer having a...
I don’t think it can be turned off completely without removing the battery, but I don’t think it draws enough power to worry about when it’s not being used.
The WPA is made for 14mm male glass connections. A lot of use a 14mm male to 14mm or 18mm male adapter to connect to glass with female...
I don’t do a lot of dabbing and I think using a whole q-tip for every dab is a lot of waste, but that’s what a lot of people do...
I don’t remember ever having a ring from a FlowerPot (ShowerHead or VRod) either. I think that mostly happens at high temps with long but still somewhat fast draws.
How do you like them all? I just got the little sphere in the 4/20 sale and I’ll probably pick up another next sale but I’m not sure which to go with!
These can’t replace larger glass rigs for everything, but they do seem to be a good fit for 10mm VapCap stems. :)
The cheapest way for you to get a cooler hit would be to buy a Low Temp Cap (or just don’t wait for the click and time it yourself so you pull it out a little before the click).
The cheapest way to get the lid cooked more evenly would be to activate and deactivate your IH every second or two...
The Fluxer Flite and Flix v2 offer PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) which basically turns the heater on and off a bunch of times to slow down the heating process. I think that makes a real difference in even heating with an induction heater.
You can simulate this with most IHs by repeatedly...
I haven’t replaced my screen yet, but I have removed it once for cleaning. Just take off the lid and the mouthpiece or WPA from the other side, then push the screen from that side and it will come out of the side you load flower into.
If that doesn’t make sense, push from the mouthpiece side...
They may have a hard time clearly seeing medicinal effects, but they’d be really hard pressed to find anything to spin as negative health effects at that dosage!
A bit. The OG FlowerPot didn’t have a wraparound so a lot of the dish was just hanging in the air. The Wrap-Around (and then D-Nail compatible Wrap-Around) were created to keep the dish at a better temp.
From there the ShowerHead was made as a larger upgraded version with the idea that it...
You may already be doing this, but the way it was intended to be attached was to put the post in your glass, set the bowl on top and then screw it together, tightening a little extra with something through the little hole in the handle (I use a tiny screwdriver). That gets the right height and...
A little late to the thread, but it was a nice surprise! These look good and the wrappings are pretty interesting. I do prefer the Nomad’s details and finish in most ways, but I would absolutely feel more comfortable sticking one of these in my pocket and taking it to more risky places, so I...
I thought you would know it! I don’t think anyone here knows about more vaporizer models than you. I just had to say it because I thought it was funny.
I think the problem with flying flower bits is they’re always turning and not keeping the same faces in contact with either a hot wall or the hottest air coming in (depending on the type of heater/bowl).
An obvious solution would seem to be raising the temp of the bowl and/or incoming air to...
@TheJackofAss I think you probably know this already, but screens can be cleaned and reused for years so if you’re throwing them away you don’t have to!
I use double weave Ti screens, and in the ShovelHead and PanHead bowls (only one’s available now and I forget which) I just leave them in and...
