In all fairness, he didn't ask the maker. He just posted in a forum. I knocked on Epic's door for him 1 post up. I'm sure they will notice, now. Epic is usually pretty darn good with their customer service but many of the manufacturer's don't always have time to read all the forums.
I usually...
For you folks who are looking for better adapters for all your vapes.... I can not recommend strongly enough the SILCON silicone tubing the iHeat uses. I bought some of this and I use it for absolutely everything. It stretches almost like a rubber band.
Here are a couple shots of what I have...
I have reported the same problem to Corona. After 5 or 6 of their beers, I notice all their labels get real blurry. LOL
Re: The ArGo: I am guessing maybe iso on the plastic covering the display made the plastic cover 'blurry'.
How about rusted floorboards. I had beaters that were so rusted the floorboards were all but gone and you could see the street rushing by under your feet.
Fred fucking Flintstone car. LOL
However, if you don't live where they use salt for snow control.......... never mind.
Exactly, pretty much what I said, it would just be an archive that would be reference. But, at least an archive can be referenced from the new forum (if it actually went that way). Information changes so fast in this vape market that the old info is mostly outdated or simply chat and friendly...
Probably should use wget to make a mirror of the site. If it does go down and there is no database backup, at least there will be a mirror of the site to reference. Then, a new site and forum can be set up and start over from scratch. The backup/mirror would not be interactive but at least you...
Whew! I have had mine sitting aside for a few weeks to air out while I tested the iHeat and Splinter. I got it back out today and that smell is just never going to go away. Too bad, I got it working pretty well in plain wattage mode but I just can't take the smell. It takes everything away from...
Just FYI, the BG Chillum fits the ArGo perfectly. I like the OG stem for stealth and travel but the chillum is (IMO) way way better for home. It gives the stem that extra length it needs to cool the vape down a tiny bit (I vape at 420F). It holds way more than the OG stem. It is thicker glass...
I have been using mine without the fan since I posted about it a while back and I don't notice any change vs using the fan.... except, no noise. LOL
It definitely does not overheat. My guess is that they needed to the fan to pass some kind of certification or safety spec.
I need to thin the herd a little.
First up is a Sticky Brick, Flip Brick.
Purchased used from a member here, I only used this vape once or twice before it hit the "Drawer" and was never seen again.
Totally awesome concept and very well done. But, I am not big on butane vapes so it's time for...
Couple things..... big shout out to Stephanie and her miraculous feats of customer service. You go, girl.
And, the Splinter stem is, indeed harsh but I found a tiny bit of hemp fiber behind the screen softens the draw a little bit.
