    Dynavap VapCap

If it's a crimp cap you can pinch the cap a little so it becomes oval and the crimp indents don't grip the tip so much or take a pair of pliers and flatten the crimp indents a little but that will be a permanent modification Depending on which tip you're using you can unscrew the crimp caps...

'The Misty Log' - DIY wooden Log Vaporizer

They use a 50W bulb in the Highlighter I don't know if you're going to have issues running a higher wattage bulb at the power level required for a log tho to be honest and whether it will be hot enough to cycle and regenerate the bulb

Is there an induction heater that runs off a set temp?

There was this project by @rz https://fuckcombustion.com/threads/the-auto-magic-super-rztoaster-or-something-like-that.24154/ That got close but I think family and work commitments took priority leading to the project being put on hold

    Brilliant Cut Grinder

The magnet in my old cheapo grinder fell out when I cleaned it in the ultrasonic cleaner so I'd try that, if you can E2a - I had another thought - it might have been the heat and uneven expansion that released it So I'd also try the strong magnet method you've already tried, in a bowl of hot...

    Herborizer corner

I use a PWM buck/boost thingy because it's universal so it replaces many power supplies and dimmers in my collection Some of them have a memory function now, which can be handy if you have a lot of devices Remembering the power settings for each device is probably my biggest issue lol

    Dynavap VapCap

I use the same technique with my SE Glass Charlie spiked stem (which is one of my best stems for the flavour)

    Dynavap VapCap

For me, no carb = no flavour So I recommend the pinch n roll technique I put the cap on with the digger outer pointing to the carb, to help locate the hole and pinch the stem in the carb (airport) region so you can rotate the stem to regulate the airflow as you draw As shown here

How to clean vape parts and reclaim resin

If you want to use iso in the cleaner you can put the iso and the parts to be cleaned in a bag or a thin plastic cup and place that in the water I don't tho, and use hot water and washing up liquid in my ultrasonic The reclaim isn't soluble so it forms into blobs that will stick to cold...

'The Misty Log' - DIY wooden Log Vaporizer

Transparent enough to give the bowl a rosy glow I can see through them enough to see when the soldering iron element is glowing in my life saber heater cover build Zirconia and Silicon Carbide are other options that will block more light, if that's the plan. I like the glow of a halo with a...

'The Misty Log' - DIY wooden Log Vaporizer

Nice work  A ring of rubies around the nipple of the bulb can help cut down the glare and diffuse the heat too

Which 18650 batteries do you trust?

The real danger is the positive end becoming exposed, and shorting So I'd buy the wraps now so you have them ready and monitor the situation It worried me 1st time but now I've done it about 10 times, that's not an issue - with a little prep so the battery doesn't roll away or anything silly...

Which 18650 batteries do you trust?

I would rewrap it Theres a tutorial video here https://www.fogstar.co.uk/a/knowledge-hub/18650-batteries/how-do-i-re-wrap-an-18650-battery? I recommend using PVC ones and avoiding the printed ones as the printed ones are usually a lot thinner https://www.fogstar.co.uk/collections/accessories
