If I vaped THCA flower from one your preferred vendors would I be able to recognize any differences?. A local dispensary advised me to stay away THCA flower because "it is ineffective compared to THC".
THCa flower is the product of a loophole in the Farm Bill that allowed flower with less than 0.3 %THC delta-9 to be sold as legal hemp. All weed is mostly THCa in its natural state and only converts to delta 9 on heating. This is the reason you have to decarb weed before using it to make...
There is a store here by the name of Charmed Hemp that sells only THCA flower. So, if this is heated it has the same effects as the THC flower I normally use? Does Hemp/THCA have Terpenes? Their prices are much less than the THC products.
Preston live resin is quite good and their new disposables seem like they would be pretty nice, featuring the same THCA concentrate only mixed with some CBD as well! Hoping they will begin to offer those separately as dabs by the gram too... I'm kind of done trying to buy herbs this way though...
I’ve tried a few different vendors for THCA, and one I’d recommend is Secret Nature. Their products are pretty reliable, and I've had good experiences with the quality.
Type 1. Psychoactive cannabis. THCa & THC with low to negligible CBD.
Type 2. Psychoactive cannabis. Approximately 1:1 ratio of CBD: THCa/THC
Type 3. Non-psychoactive cannabis. High CBD, low THCa/THC.
Any of the above are "Farm Bill loophole legal" and considered to be hemp, not marijuana...
Sounds like you got some mids. THCA bud from physical stores is pretty much guaranteed to be garbage from what I've heard. I have some bud right now that I bought as THCA hemp that is absolutely some of the dankest weed I have ever smelled in my life. I'm talking an eighth of an ounce smells...
...dry and though neither smelled of chemicals or anything else that might raise a red flag, the odor and taste featured a stem like hempy earthiness that did NOT reflect the name each product was assigned.
I had wanted to try THCA ; So itch scratched, probably permanently.
Just my :2c:
Cheers

My favorite are the type 2 flowers, which are easy to get via the THCa vendors. Straight up they are nice and balanced; mix in a little with some type 1 and they are much more complex and interesting than type 1 alone. I think it is the other cannabiniods that are present that enrich the...
Go Ravens! Next year. All Weed needs to be decarbed if you want to eat it. I've even ordered THCA weed online even though I work in a dispo.
there still spectrum edibles made with RSO here too.
Some states have enacted their own bans on the THCa hemp loophole.

There is also a new Farm Bill draft that is intended to close the loophole.
LOL i tried distillate carts once and i hated that to be honest. But that was also the day i also got to first try Concentrates too! The one brand of edibles we get in MD is based on distillate and it does seem stronger than the other eddies but slightly oily taste that...
...how to explain it haha but something is missing, it's not just nobody, it's like deeper than that lol
So I kind of feel that way about the THCA bud, and it could explain why sometimes a lot of the dispensary bud is also disappointing, hard to know what is what, they show you the stats and...
THCa is 50 State legal mids. It will get you just as high as dispo flower, but doesn’t taste quite as good IME. My understanding is this is due to harvesting early to avoid THCa to THC conversion and staying on the right side of the law. Could be wrong though.
...kind of a different kind of question from what i wanted to ask.
No what i was asking, purely out of personal curiosity was so-called THCa weed was different from the Delta 9 weed we have here. By different i mean not just taste but the type of high you get and...
I'm not sure exactly what the question here is anymore, but there is another thread or two discussing mail order hemp, CBD, but also a lot of THCA discussion has that became a thing (a lot of debate over whether it was the same necessarily, I feel like it's not as full spectrum, but it's also...

What is Decarboxylation?
Decarboxylation is a chemical process that removes a carboxyl group from a molecule...
