I was referring to the use of a Solo stem in the E-Nano. I also have not had any material touch the screen, even when I load up twice as much in a bowl.

The E-Nano's heater core would be touching the plant material with a Solo stem - I'm thinking that would = combustion.

How are the two related?

The Solo stems wouldn't work without some silicone. The bowl is too close to the top of the stem and subsequently the E-Nano's heater.
