I had a similar experience when I dropped my Tempest on a plastic bag. The retained heat allowed me to wipe most of it off also, but it did take a second heating to get it all.
I always think of you when there is a trembler in Southern California. San Diego is pretty far from the major faults, so I suppose you aren't as at risk as you would be almost anywhere else in Calif. I absolutely love your glass but it would make me way nervous...
It's about 90 Bucks delivered from the vapelifestore here in the U. S. https://www.thevapelifestore.com/products/the-wand-enail-dabbing-kit
I know they ship overseas, but I don't know what it would cost.
Absolutely a consideration. I handed mine to a friend after heating it the other day, and...
I misplaced my wand for a day, so found myself having to use my torches to heat my tempest and I found it a little more difficult and more of a learning curve to choose where to heat it. I also don't really like holding one of those torch lighters lit for long enough to get the Tempest going...
No, this is incorrect. The default mouthpiece fits a 10mm adapter. I can't imagine a 14mm adapter is usable. The glass side can be 14 or 18 depending upon your water piece but the inside diameter should be 10mm.
This is how it looks in a 14mm adapter. I don't have a 10mm to show you but it...
Having had lung surgery last March, I find that I can't really take the big hits I used to take. And I also find that my lungs get irritated a little more easily, so I tend to cough more. That is a big part of the reason why I tend to use water and glass when I'm at home. But when I'm out of...
Absolutely doable that way. The upside is ease of use, you just drop it on the WPA and go for it. The other side (down side?) is with glass, and especially with glass and water, you really don't need the cooling the stem provides as much but you still need to clean the goodness that collects in...
Yes. That is mostly how I use it, same as my TM. Most convection vapes can be used that way. Of course the more hits you have taken the less flavor that is left.
I was very tempted to pick up one of those green ones but I decided I would wait and let everybody get their first one before I got my 2nd one... ;)
Actually, when they become available I'm more likely to just get a second head so I don't have to keep taking it apart to use it on glass.
Quick question slightly off topic, though not really. I have been cleaning the balls in my tempest along with the head, just by soaking it in ISO and rinsing it out with hot water. I see some suggesting that ISO may not be the best method of cleaning the balls and I have heard recommendations...
