I've only owned vapes with one temperature :myday:, multiple temperature presets or the sub UFO which you torch, so having direct control over vape temp is going to be a revolution for me, even if it's by voltage rather than Fahrenheit setting. I understand what you said about the rheostat and...
Nice videos, in that first one it looks like your vaping a pencil.
For dabbing are you only torching the antenna? Or are you doing a pre-heatup on the sputnik mass?
Never seen or tried the Pax, but I don't regret my Pinnacle Pro purchase. I steered away from the Pax because - I like the PnP form factor better (slimmer), )no water filtration option (pong will fit into just about any 14mm water pipe), FC users said it uses more herb, is harder to...
I'm on a trip out west right now and brought some grounds in the Jyarz that @sasNW gave me, this thing is completely smell proof, I'm sniffing all over the outside of it near the lid and nothing, then I unscrew and bam, quite pungent. Great product.
Not the product's fault, but my only...
@Leiana Are you worried about raising our expectations too high?
Hard case. Free body and at-cost heater upgrades. Modular water tool components. Open source and voice of the customer driven design methods. Industry collaboration. Thick quality glass. Modular heater design with a wide range...
Is that a fritted disc perc in this tube? I'm curious what this "glass water base" is that it sits on. And I noticed a clear Versa test unit in the back and you can see the complete heater body. Pretty cool.
Not sure I understand the Tube concept, the piece you showed goes on top of something that holds water?
I usually prefer clear scientific glass, but the silvering on that does look pretty cool. I also like the elegant use of the logo on the glass, you should do that to the Versa bodies too...
They all said F to FC and went to Vegas with the Beta cash, let's all go to HQ and wait for them to return :goon: :goon: :goon:
Actually, heck, I can wait...I am patient..take your time (but not too long) we want you to get it right Versa peeps!
TRVB says they do a burn off prior to packaging the units for sale, but everyone here usually does a burn off anyways. So its up to you. I also ISO cleaned my bullets with a qtip before using the first time.
Yup, another positive for the UFO kit is it is the sputnik heater is a beast in terms of construction. Even if I switch to another vape later, I can see keeping this one a long time in the bag of tricks.
Just dropped my hot ufo on the rug....urg...just torched it a bit to burn off and now I'll have to disassemble and give a good scrub, smells like burnt hair. I hope I'm not scaring you off Fresh_Baked but you need to know the risks. I feel like such an idiot... Thank Dog I got a good...
I'd like to know how much distance you need between the joint and the pipe body for the Versa to fit over it, it looks like you need at least 1.5" or so, especially if you have a parallel downstem and not an angled one.
Inconceivable!
I tried my gas stovetop and a butane chef's torch at first. It worked, but took way too long. I then immediately went to the hardware store and got a Benzomatic Fatboy kit, it's not that unwieldy, and the heat difference btw that and butane is dramatic. Here's a pic, it cost me about 30 bucks:
