I don't usually get into these exchanges because my numbers never seem to be similar to others experience. Just as a data point for others, though, I will mention that in my case I am lucky to get more than 5 full heats from cold on a fresh set of batteries with my Wand. The Wand seems to have...
Obviously, Pete doesn't carry the Tempest.
I imagine this could be a problem for any time a vendor has the manufacturing of their product done in China. When a vendor stops selling a product, and therefore stops ordering more from the manufacturer, there's probably no way to get the...
I would imagine if that was Mad Heater's product there would be logos in the ad and the Reload name. This appears to be a clone. What a shame that a major vendor is carrying it. I might understand better if it was DHGate or Alibaba. :uhoh:
I imagine as long as you use the clicks and the VI as guides or reference points rather than hard and fast decision points, even a slowly changing Vi or clicks should work for a long long time.
I particularly like the ability to swap out the mouthpieces to get further away or closer to the can. When I'm doing what I described above, using the wand on a Tempest already on my glass for a reheat, a longer mouthpiece like above gives me a better view to determine the level of vaporization...
I have the FC mod which I have been using lately as my daily water piece, and it is very similar in design to this. Did that originally come with a longer downstem or was it always only going about half the depth in the piece? I find with the longer down stem I can use less water and still get...
Actually, I do something similar on a water piece. The difference is that, rather than waiting for the taste of vapor, I'm watching for the visual of vapor coming through the wpa. Very simple and effective.
I don't feel any need to increase the air flow, so this is a solution without a problem for me, but I would just suggest that you be very careful that that screen is well captured by the threading. Hot balls, especially at their peak of heat, can be very unfriendly to flesh, carpeting and most...
I just posted this elsewhere, but I guess it fits in well here too. Forgive me for a video in the picture thread but it fits too well. Irony at it's best...
Just as a data point I am using a Tempest head on a WPA and a FC MOD with water as my inside combination these days. I always do a half bowl. Since my lung surgery, I no longer try to get the biggest hit I possibly can, but I have no problem finishing the half bowl with 2 decent size hits...
I was torching some zirconium balls in a spoon last night and I accidentally lost a few of the balls onto my carpet near their hottest point. My advice to anyone else who does this is, just let it burn the carpet. While it is true your fingerprints will probably come back, it is never a good...
That "high coast pocket" does seem higher quality both in fabric and in the zippers, but it is also 3 times the price. I will keep it in mind if the OZCHIN ends up not performing well.
If you look back in the thread, there are a couple others, but I'm liking this one that I picked up at Amazon. Called the OZCHIN
This version. It's about 10 bucks. https://www.amazon.com/OZCHIN-Smell-Proof-Pouch-Storage/dp/B08LP9HRMV/
It was always my impression if you start at too high a temperature you burn off low temp goodness that at a lower temp you might be able to aerosolize and absorb. Is that an incorrect impression? I get that you might want to keep increasing the temperature until you get some higher temp...
I was in that line. I was going to school in Santa Barbara at the time, and we drove to LA to see the premiere. I think I've only seen it twice or maybe 3 times in the theater, but I've probably seen it 100 other times.
I find if I rotate the screen counterclockwise a turn or two it seats better at the bottom and when I turn it clockwise it all stays within the thread without a leaf outside it. I also find it completely secure. I have never had the balls come out accidentally.
