I went back down to about 10:00 on the dial and was pleasently surprised. While the lower temps made the wait longer, 2-3 minutes for the herbs and glass to reach optimal heat, the pulls were very tasty and the vapour was thick and satisfying. I had been using higher temps around 12:00 to 2:00...

I can't help you with model number, but I just shook mine and it was dead silent. I have no cracks anywhere, and my unit is 6 months old. For 40 bucks you can return the unit for repairs.

The whole deal with hitting the box "native" is that all - well most - vapor condensation takes place in our bodies so very little of the hit is wasted until we exhale. The bigger and higher thing is just way to subjective; the box allows for a lot of variation and we love experimenting with...

I second that. The logo batts are as strong as my beta-PA maybe stronger. They have changed the way I hit the LB with a much shorter waiting time followed by a much sharper draw on the pull. In public it is just the thing for quick hidden hits. :ninja: OH Yeah Happy Holidays

As Stu said, the taste is truly amazing eventhough loading, temp and waiting time does take some experimentation.

Great news! I just pulled the trigger on a new kit for a friend, and I was hoping that the new batts would come with the kit. The batts with the mflb logo are more powerful than my PA. My friend is going to love it and have a shorter learning curve.

My glass also look like that without combustion, just overworked. :ko: And the best cleaning and or reclaiming method is......? How about a steam cleaner ?
