@Haze Mister To replace the screen simply put the tip on a table face down (bowl end). Take your condenser and push down on the screen through the hole on the fin end of the tip and it will pop right out.
OMG! My Simrell Stinger just got delivered - 2 weeks earlier than the delivery date! Can't wait to try it out. Photo won't attach from my phone though 😟 Thanks to Austin @Simrell for the super fast delivery.
I have both too but the mouthpiece supplied with the Tektonik is terrible. Why put a second carb hole on the the mouthpiece and why is it NOT airtight? It's like breathing fresh air and ruins the experience. The Shellshock mouthpiece solves the problem but I now have to share it between 2...
Just received my Shellshock and Tektonik bodies but my picture won't attach!!!!
I must have lucked out on my Shellshock as it is pretty much airtight unlike others mentioned on the forum. Can't wait to try them out.
I have both the single and double variants and prefer the double because the single can't compete with an Aomai torch so you have both bases well covered! 🔥🔥🔥
Don't like the look of this tip. It looks like a drunkard was employed to grind the air channels on the tip edge. I would return it if I paid money for it - I sincerely hope you didn't.
My gen 4 7 fin tips work as intended and I have no issue setting a Ti CCD to 50/75% in them - I just practised the technique over and over back in 2017 when I got my Omnivap. I didn't sign up for the 77 tip as I thought it was overpriced at the time so cannot advise either way. If Dynavap had...

He means you can slide the CCD between 100-50%. Start at the 50% position and by pushing down gently on the CCD with a condenser you can literally slide it to where you want it due to the SS being stiffer than Ti it grips without the need for a groove. Mine is set at 75% on my 20M tip.
The bud at that end of the tip especially if full or overloaded expands and presses against the metal end of the cap when heated and this direct contact cooks the bud turning it black.
I had the same issue so I always slightly underfill now and don't get scorching anymore. Also after 2 heat...
Yes that's a good analogy. I find that after pinching the standard cap it fits tighter compared to my captive caps but saying that I have had vapcaps since 2017 and the old design caps are tighter than the new design to the point that they don't need pinching.
