Running (with a 12v cigarette plug adapter) on a car electrical system is somewhat hard to predict because the voltage can vary from low 12v ranges to near 14v range. In UD terms this is a range from not-hot-enough-to-use to combustion-of-herb/damage-to-UD. I don't have any experience with the...
Just like Irishroots said a bed of herb is always a good way to go. Either just a single layer, or a bottom layer with your bubble in the middle then topped with another light layer works well. Wrapping some up in a little piece of cotton material (or an unrolled q-tip) also seems to work well...
@ Yoshi - no, these days there's no real functional difference between the different pieces. They're just all different as a matter of style, since we make them freehand they're always unique.
It's really just a matter of wear and tear. The standard wall-wart runs the UD at about 90% max power which really adds up (wear and tear) over time. For most users this equates to the UD sitting there idle most of the time, engine roaring away at 90% power, beating things up for no real reason...

No weimaraners here but I do have the the 4-legged Underdog and he's been known to have a spazzy moment here or there, my UDs have seen their share of floors because of him lol.
How is yours rattling, does it sound like a little piece of the heating element spalled off or like the core is...
Hey Meghan, it's pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Take the screen and flatten it out as good as you can and then press it flat against the opening (not sideways) and try to get it to 'pop' in to the stem tip a bit. Once you get that done you should be able to very gently use one of the...

Hey Dogs, just dropping in to let you all know we've returned and will resume shipping packages out in the morning. Will also be working our way through the backlog of emails and messages and should have those all answered within a day or so. Hope you guys all had a good weekend, we certainly...
@ shredhead - That's a sweet bubbler there man..
Alright UDs we're heading out, all outstanding orders are packaged and shipped so we're hitting the highway. See you dudes out there. :peace:
@ Slothington - your Dog should definitely have more retained heat than that and should recover from a large draw in seconds not minutes. Send me a message and we'll figure out what's going on and get you straightened out ASAP. :peace:
@ Shredhead - it's true that we've had to stop shipping...
For all glass we have the GonG Stems as shown on the site and also the ability to make custom length GonG Stems up to 3-4" long. We can also make non-GonG glass stems (otherwise just like the GonG Stems) at any length you need up to about 36" :ninja:. For the custom stuff you just have to email...
@ OTA - you may be able to use the dremel and a stone grinding bit to carefully open up the ID of your Dogs center tube a bit. It doesn't take much to get the 5/16" opening needed maybe a hundredth of an inch or so (give or take). You'd need to carefully push your screen down a bit so you have...
@ Meghan - that's one of my all time favorite pieces, the wood is just..
@ Crohnie - happy times man glad to hear your Pup came home, I'm sure it missed you lol.
