The heat up times are all similar amongst similar sized pieces, so since the California Eucalyptus pieces are Twig sized, or rather they ARE Twigs, they should all heat up similarly. The only functional difference between the Classic Core and the newest pieces are the Nylon Stem compatibility...

They do work, just not the Nylon Stems. I don't think Darkrom has had a chance to try them yet and was thinking of picking one up when I send his Dog back.. that's what I meant by the comment. :cool:
