I have strong opinions about this. I think the Volcano has the 'purest' flavors, due to the rock solid temp regulation.
I think that 7th Floors vapes have the 'best' flavors, due to lack of temp regulation. Clearly, just my personal opinion, but let me explain why I feel this way.
Pure...
I am not claiming that all LSV's will have the same results, just this one. I I tested it under the situations in which I use it. I can't test it in yours, or any other situation the number of situations you suggest is really infinite. And I used an SSV as reference, that's as close as I...
I would bet that this isn't saying it ONLY goes to 400, rather that is the top of its range.
It has a built in accelerometer that measures the air intake speed and adjust heat output on the 'fly'. This all happens within microseconds.
Okay, I made that last part up. A boy can dream.
Damn...
It can't heat the glass if its instantaneous. Heating the glass at all to accomplish vaping would be super inefficient. I don't think this is a conduction vape. Based on images, the elements are located directly below the bowl, but there is no apparent screen. But what separates the herb...
Compared to the Plenty, which can produce consistent temps every time all the time... That's the thing about the LSV. Since the heater covers are hand made, the hole on the shaft that is the cool air intake, is blown out by hand. Also, the length of said heater cover is never the same. So...
Reviewing the Plenty, or even discussing it, has been a challenge in this thread. But...its like talking about a hammer. It works, every time, without fail; what's to discuss?
Seriously though we should all be trying to come up with some creative accessory mods for this beast.
Definitely try the GG adapter that syrupy and as mentioned on the page before...or more economically, putting a screen inside the heater cover will be quite a challenge, they just aren't made to accept it. Another option is to use these: (on the left)
They are a bit of a hassle to get out...
Hey S & B, how about a dedicated part inside the valve that is designed for particulate collection. Sure you can soak or scrape blindly, but how about something with maybe tool that is made to directly harvest. Its possible. Britney Schpears has her own cereal, so surely anything is possible.
You chose the right vape! The HFA is a great help when using accessories. I would use the VT as your mouthpiece, so that the vapors has as much time to cool before entering it -so it doesn't warm up so fast. Making some sort of insulating jacket will help immensely, but realistically you will...
Many requests have been made for them to create HC's that can handle Screens. To date...nothing. Odd considering what they have a full glass shop, and claim to make you anything you want. They would probably do a one off?
You can definitely go too high in the LSV. I have never wanted the plenty to hit harder. The LSV, however, far more versatile, but with a hose and a fitting or two, you could rig the Plenty a few different ways for sure.
Draw rate is comparable...both allow you to breathe normally. Vapors are a bit warm with the LSV, when using the included transfer wand, the cooling tube on the Plenty works far better at cooling. The Plenty also doesn't get hot due to the shutoff mechanism.
I hope beyond hope that S&B makes a new bag system. I think one system that has the best of both worlds combined would be so ideal. Replaceable bags on a chamber that clips on like the Easy. Chamber size from the Solid, but the width of the Easy chamber. But the Solid collects goodness, and...
