Here is my new TM with a 14/23 Male Uber Glass Ground Joint. This stem is a little long and silly looking but it's heavy duty German glass and only $3.50 from a glass blower supply. Note you have to get the German Schott Duran glass with the "Uber" joint in order to get the needed 16 mm stem...
I just got my first TinyMight yesterday and even on the first test drive it put my desktops to shame. The power is truly surprising, I'm used to going 10 seconds on most convection units just to warm them up and then another 10 seconds to get anything done. With the TM I had to stop within...
So, my TM arrived today but my first few seconds with it were not the experience I was hoping for. I debated about posting this but am going ahead because some of the new TM retailers might see this and learn from it. To save rewording I'm posting my email to the retailer below. I don't...
For anyone who wanted one from the US: I ordered 7/14 from the TheVapeLifeStore before their bulk shipment came in, their shipment came in 7/21 and mine is currently out for delivery. Other retailers may still be waiting for their shipments.
That's one bowl in most vapes. My Splinter Z or a Vapcap can do that in 2 hits if I push, I try to stretch it out to 3.
Did you misread something, did I? :)
I've come to the conclusion that ease of use features are almost irrelevant. It's all about tuning the heater and air path, if it works great nobody cares about those features (see TinyMight). There are lots of failed vapes with all the features you could want but that delivered lousy hits...
Thanks for that video. I wondered about the friction fit but that does look quite solid and preferable (for me) to the bottom side tab. Hopefully my TM will show up this week, I'll use her naked before worrying about clothes (wait, did I just say that out loud).
Keep in mind the TM is designed for standard 16 mm outside diameter (OD) glass tubing which means you can buy glass blower joint blanks and use them as stems, eg: https://www.mountainglass.com/German-Male-14-23-Uber-Joint-130mm-200 The combo of a 16 mm stem with 14 mm male joint is unusual so...
There are no right or wrong answers when it comes to airpath restriction. What is perfect for one person is too restrictive for another. Some very open airflow vapes also give very dense hits, that has more to do with the heater than the stem. Stem length is one of the main factors that...
Just one warning: the FireFly is a vape that people tend to love or really hate. A lot of people hate it. The biggest issues are that it is messy to fill and difficult to clean, it tends to get very hot. It's expensive for what it does. It is known for being better for concentrates (hash)...
You must be misunderstanding. You can never drain a Li Ion cell below 2.5 V and whether is at that voltage or 4.0 V is an irrelevant detail. You can work on it as it is without further draining.
Just to avoid confusion, my order is technically a "pre-order" with vapelifestore. Their shipment from Finland is on the way. I think the guy who makes these finally got ahead of the daily orders so had enough for a few retailers.
I'm usually more deliberate in how I do things but I figured what the hell and ordered (after double checking the legitimacy from a couple of sources). I've been on the fence about getting a TM for two years now. In a few weeks I'll be on the band wagon.
