How long will the unit stay in the zone when un-plugged? Not very long. 4 minutes? Best to get baked in the car first then take the walk. The unit won't run a good car battery down for hours, so leave it running and come back to a warm unit when you are done. Ahhh, the beach at sunrise. :cool:

The unit has a slight odor when you get your nose right in it (even the crash test unit that has been running non-stop many months). Just smells like warm wood, sorta a mild sauna smell, but cherry wood. The tubes, when dirty have a bit of odor, but nothing nasty like a 'smoking' device.
