Yes. The SiC worked at lower temps and tasted better in my opinion. And it was way more durable. My gf dropped it onto hard tile or it would have probably lasted a life time!

Has anybody else had major issues with their quartz halo chipping across the bottom? Mine is chipping all around the bottom and I made sure it isn't on too tight or anything. I keep the nail at 690 and clean with alcohol. I wish I had gone with the SiC nail again. :/

Ahhhhh makes sense. If i could find a glass carb cap to fit my quartz halo i would have done that but most places like etsy do not include the size. so frustrating lol.

To anybody with a d-nail gen 2 carb cap. will any HE dabber fit into it? i ordered the cap itself, thinking i could put one of my generic dabbers into it and they do not fit.

Hey so if anybody is like me and are desperately awaiting the arrival of the D-Nail carb cap for the halo nails, I found out last night that the little glass jars that come with Micro G-Pens fits perfectly on top. This is what I have been doing and it's been working great! I love this Quartz...
