This is just a troubleshoot suggestion. Disconnect the coil. Check your presets, switch to one then back if you can. Plug the coil back in after the unit has ran for a minute. Also do a test with the heat function off. See if still reads the coil and nail if you don't have it heating.

@MokumMan I'd just go through SCS site or get the Vogue grinder. That had a discount but I was trying the other SCS models and the price is the same (no discount?). Fwiw I wouldn't get the small grinder. I have it and its more often than not uncomfortable to grind with in comparison to the next...

For what its worth the Vapolution 3 has been on some sort sale for 159 for the past few months. I think its a wonderful device for low temps (like 356F low but 320F even works.). I wouldn't see any reason not to spend 60 more dollars for it over the 2.
