I don't know what's wrong with people. Its already an instant heating unit. I've never had to wait to use this device after its on. I don't think it needs the temp boost but it can help like a placebo especially if you're on lower temps.

From what I've noticed also when you take the coil out and put it in.. Out it will say something like N/C - No Coil. Putting it back in while its on starts the nail temps at 2k-3k obviously not a true reading but it does slowly become correct.

Fwiw, I think my HN starts heating while its initializing. It always seemed like it. It gets a little hot before you can even see the temp about 8 seconds after the animated logo starts.
