first thing i did with 3.7 herc was dump flowers in it. it 'worked' but cleaning was a bitch and the flavor was fucked from it for a bit... had to torch the rod clean. i tried one other time with flowers on top of one saturated coil and again it worked, but that coil is no longer with us.

Was just talking replacement heater but yeah, im buyin my own globe after all this fuss... i hated, absolutley hated generic globe pens. So gross.

Ok so you convinced me to buy the globe... ive posted this q before but is the globe heater the same thread as the ego globe atty? I have a friend who wants to replace his but i didnt have any experience with w9 globes to say.

Take your time in finding the sweet spot... To comment on the hot iso wash, my rigs that are small enough and heavily gunked ill fill with 97-99% iso and microwave for 15 seconds. Its been safe at 15 sec for me with cheap thin glass, but just got informed of that trick a couple weeks ago.

Is the gold spring pin connecting solidly? 3.7 or 7.4? If 3.7 it needs time to heat up. What batteries are you running?

Get a ss pick, like paperclip thickness, get your oil on that then heat up the ss a lil higher above so molten drops land on the coil.

Brick and mortars are expensive, but at least you can check the batteries before you buy. Look around online but know that fakes are prevalent and rewraps abundant. Edit: the aw imrs on the w9 site are fine, i bought a used unit and had the lgs readily available without shipping.
