From the comment section of Buzz's ti review that may be of interest...
"Yes. I’m still doing some testing with my roommate but the vapor temp seems a bit warmer with the TI model. It definitely cools down faster and cooler to the touch but let me do some more comparing with the SS model and TI...
I had an email out to TrEvor 5 minutes post the update asking him the very thing, but who am I kidding I got a camping trip next week and I want that grasshopper!
It still pisses me off to no end that they are privately telling people these are shipping while we can reasonably deduce that is not the case... (again I am a top 5 "holiday gift" backer). IF they are kicking down a free battery for preorders they should certainly do the same for IGG backers...
Aight let me take a stab at this using my proprietary grasshopper translator:
"Theelectronics come in larger batches but there is an extensive supply chain involved in the components used on the PCBs. A hick-up here holds production up until that part comes in. We are just starting this while...
Because they installed one over engineered pen clip on one stainless body - thus grasshoppers are under construction. Perfectly consistent with their messaging
Trevor confirmed to me in an email that they still do not have heaters, batteries and "other electronics". So expectations of imminent assembly are vastly optimistic. I'm calling late May early June for first shipments
Hmmm "machined" parts... Pretty specific language, I believe that implies that the printed heating elements and potentially the electronics are excluded.. Hope I'm wrong. These guys would make better lawyers then businessmen
I think you make a fair point, but don't you think that by repeatedly creating the illusion that grasshoppers are shipping (last four updates alluded to it) just as they reopen the window for new preorders they are creating the false impression of imminent delivery? The average prospective...
I can actually - "The very first units went out last week, and a lot more are on their way."
I am an early bird backer with the holiday upgrade with a top 5 order.. I can unequivocally say that the units (plural) did not go out
As an early backer that paid up for the early bird package - I am excited about the product itself and impressed with the engineering skills of the Grasshopper team. Having said that I will never give these guys another penny for anything. "the manufacturer was assuring us that heaters would...
I for one prefer C02 oil when buying from an unknown source... C02 requires a significantly more expensive and professional setup and I am willing to sacrifice a tiny bit of taste for being sure that there's no butane or mystery oil leftover.. That and I tend to use my oil in pens so the thinner...
I think hairdryer should work, remember the lower the heat and the slower the process the less you will damage the oil/terpenes
You should be able to turn the tank upside down into a shot glass to be later used for mixing and extract it all at 80/90 degrees so a warm water bath or leaving it In...
Welcome aboard- I would first test out the pure c02 oil, you may be surprised at how well it wicks. Ultimately if you are not happy with that, you will have to apply heat to get it to mix with EJ, I reccommend that you extract the oil first.
