I noticed that a lot of you guys have two Fireflys. I'm pretty new to vaping on a regular basis and can appreciate that a back-up could be necessary. Is that the main reason to own two?
Just curious. Does anybody have what they consider a "hot" unit? Mine will work great, then after about a dozen uses, suddenly I have a session that seams to burn hot. producing combustion or close to it. Does anyone have a unit like this and if so, could that be considered a possible benefit...
I get very visible vapor with that method. draw steadily, not too fast or too slow. It will feel cool at first. like you're not getting anything, then you will feel a little tingle build in your lungs. As soon as you feel that, let off the button but keep drawing steadily and that's when the...
I find that if I put my lips loosely around the mouthpiece and suck air from the middle of the mouthpiece, as well as from the sides of my mouth it seems to work very well with little or no resistance. Also, I have bad lungs, so I fully exhale before taking a lengthy hit. Seems to work very well...
Thanks guys. I just had a session and all was good. No combustion. I think once you learn how to get a big hit, if you don't let up it can get out of control. I think control is the key. I'm learning to let up at the right time to avoid combustion. If I find that it keeps happening though, I...
Well today I had my second combustion event in 3 days. About the third or fourth hit I crumbled up and repositioned the dryer, finer material and tamped it down a bit. I was pressing the button and could feel the cool vapor hit my lungs. I let off the button and kept a steady draw and boom...
Sounds like residue on the stainless steel. If I were you I'd swab it gently with a q-tip dipped in alcohol to clean it up. I think you better get the screen back in there as it was designed, or residue may muck up the mechanics. Either order more from firefly or go in to your local tobacco...
Just had my first combustion event with the Firefly. It was at the end of a load when I was trying to get the last hit and I guess I leaned on the button too long. I think it was just the combination of events, grind, timing, drawing technique, etc that led to the perfect storm. Everything...
If you guys were going on a road trip would you take your firefly with you? Would you take your meds with you or get them in another state? Is the firefly one of the better road trip vapes, do ya think?
I say if it's working wonderfully, don't ditch it. If it messes up before the warranty runs out, it sounds like Firefly will replace it, so no need to give her up yet.
Kay, so I've had my silver beauty for four days now. Very satisfied. I was happy getting a light to moderate vape, but on my last try, I employed a technique mentioned several pages ago and it knocked my socks off. I put my lips very loosely around the mouthpiece and sucked in air from the...
