Yes. The thermometer sensor just has too be held tight to the heating tube about 1-2mm below the heating block. It is held in place with a silicone tube so nothing special about it or the way it is attached.

My jerry-rigged replacement was quite simple. To replace it like it actually comes seems like it would be a bitch. Its just silicone tubing tho so you can get that anywhere.
