Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but @mitchgo61 or anyone know the release date?
Tired searching "date" + "release" in this thread to no avail.
I'm so close to buying a grasshopper, but this really throws a spanner in the works.
Yeah I remember following @Vambo1980 posts quite intently. He swapped out his batteries himself (18650) and also removed a thermal resistor? (which helped the overheating issue, I believe). He is definitely a smart cookie!
Search his old posts they are fairly detailed.
Not if you do the above...
I would have to strongly recommend the mighty! (if money isn't an option).
It is the perfect group session vape.
It keeps up with everyone. People can pull as fast/slow as the want and it will keep up.
Hmmmmm, I think you hit the nail on the head, it depends what qualities you define as...
You are 100% correct my quote was directly taken from the website at the time.
However it seems they have updated it, and rightfully so, as most people have noted it seems to be a combination of both conduction and convection.
Unable to modify my original post with the updated info (it must be...
To the colour Ti owners.
Does the anodised colour finish ever scratch off?
I really want a blue one, although I can't help but think the plain silver will look best in the long run (if the anodised colouring scratches off it would look nasty).
I kept my all my portable vapes, and let me tell you, the crafty blows them all away.
The only one I bring out on occasions is the solo.
It's flavour is better, but only for the first 3 draws... After that it goes downhill very quickly... The crafty has more consistent flavour right till the...
Hey Shay,
I know it might be a bit premature, but how do you compare the vapor quality with your mighty? (and if you have a Pax that too).
(coolness/smoothness and then flavour)
Bit of an unfair comparison. I think you'll find the first few months of crafty posts were pretty good too and no returns.
Crafty is up to 26,000+ units now with people putting 300+ hrs of pure use on them.
Maybe make the comparison again in a year, or after Prima even sells 10,000 units.
Sorry, I was just using slang, it's not a different model.
The term OG means "original gangster". In this context, I meant it in the sense that it was an original unit (first 1000 production series) that is still going harder than most other units (from the anecdotal evidence in this thread)...
Hey Roth, then yes the problem was caused by the migration from Android 4 to 5.
The root cause is in fact due to the crafty firmware 2.04 (this is what needs to be upgraded).
As @Vambo1980 suggested send it in and they will more than likely replace it with new unit and updated housing too...
Kind of odd... It should have happened when you first went to 5.0 on your phone (that's what happened to me).
And yes crafty firmware version 2.04 is the version known to have compatibility issues with Android 5.0.
My review of the Easyflow brand glass adapter(GonG).
I have to say, initially, I was less than impressed with the unit due to it's build quality. Let's face it, it's a cheap glass peice and a plastic sleeve.
It doesn't really seem to fit on perfectly, e.g. you can't twist it on all the way...

As has been suggested prior, I would remove the stock screen on the "vapefiend easyflow glass adapter" and use a oil pad in its place.
The oil pad sits perfectly flush and will keep the load in place (so that you don't have to use aa cut screen to tamp it down).
I'll post some photos once I...
No I didn't miss that part. That was the reason for my reply.
I'm saying that the crafty and mighty have litterally identical heater exchange elements and materials. Flavour is identical in my experience.
Which is why I was suggesting you clean both cooling units, perhaps the crafty cooling unit...
Sorry smutman, I don't understand.
I've tried both crafty and mighty (I own the crafty), the flavour is exactly the same on both units. Maybe slightly cooler on the mighty (but that's stretching it in my opinion).
Maybe clean the crafty cooling unit?
Not trying to discredit you as you own more...
Hey, fellow Aussie here.
I ordered mine a few days ago, so I should get it before you. I'll post a response to each of your concerns after some testing :science::rockon:
Totally agree with you regarding the cost.
I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the price shipped (in AUD). Especially...
Don't bother with the Ascent, I returned mine. It was well overhyped. The crafty is in another league!
Dont waste your time with the ascent, honestly.
The grasshopper sounds like the vape for your needs.
Grasshopper is ok at low temps but at high temps... Don't even bother... You will need a...
