I got mine.
Heart stopping anxiety. The UPS guy handed me the package and I actually heard ceramic peiced jingling. Opened the package. Shitty packing job. My dog could've done better. The unit, the sacred nut: intact. Serving bowl multiple pieces. Shit. But, yay! Best possible piece to break...
@Legalize Weed in GERMANY DUDE! Your Tweety, love it.
Someone mentioned just cradling the warm ball in your hand like a cup of tea. I'm getting all gooey just thinking about it.
@SquirrelMaster funny you went with kush mint. That's the EXACT same strain I just got a text from my dispo last...
I'm sure I'm not the the only one that does this...
I forget to load the bowl and heat an empty cap. There's so much reclaim gooked up that it actually produces vapor and it takes a few heat cycles for me to realize it tastes like ass bacause I've been baking the shit out of an empty cap trying...
Man am I stoked to be joining the gang later this week!
I've rewatched the YouTube video by tools420 a bunch. Love it when he totally loses it and starts saying (in a fantastic impression of Dr Colly) "IT'S WOOORKING!"
@GoldenBud I forget ABV in vapcaps for days. So, what? That has zero impact on cleaning to me. Is it leaving a smell or sticking? What's the issue with ABV hanging out? Why would that impact cleaning?
I clean if I combust or it starts to leak reclaim out the mouthpiece.
When people say they...
@Shit Snacks I don't have mine yet. So, please excuse any ignorance.
If I'm sitting down and doing a session where my intent is to 'finish' the bowl and my carb hole is plugged, are the steps as follows: inhale with the ball firmly in place and remove the ball to clear the chamber, exhale, rest...
RE: electric tape
No. Not the tape. The cardboard spool inside. Someone mentioned that the circular opening is a good size to rest the ball in. Just the core. Not the tape.
Someone somewhere on here posted that a roll of electrical tape is the perfect size to sit the bowl in.
I'm planning on putting a roll of electrical tape right there on the table and that's where the bowl goes. I might dress it up and make it look prettier.
Anyhoo - thanks for the tip...
I 'think' the most impact tip design can have on airflow is the notches or grooves on top. Having a scalloped edge means the cap can't sit flat and air will go under. That was one of the first mods - filing notches on '18s.
Grooves along the outside of the tip certainly have a bearing on...
Maybe shallow grooves are better performance wise. The pics of the '18 SS tips I've seen look like very shallow and smoth grooves. The' 20 SS was very angular and sharp and not many people are as passionate about it as the '18.
@HempJuicer welcome! That tip looks great. It must tear into that...
I like that they are unique and individual. It adds to the appeal in my opinion.
"How do you like your fancy new art bong?"
Optimistic answer: "I'm so happy that it's made out of thick solid ceramic. This thing should last forever!"
Pessimistic answer: "I don't know, man. Looks like it's...
@seki just to be clear - I have no problem whatsoever with YOUR post or your question / opinion. Very happy you put this out there. I totally agree with having an inforned opinion before making a purchase. Your post was eloquent.
Side note: I used to not like Ti tips. Recently I've been using...
I don't know why one would make the conclusion that DV is "using cost cutting measures" as a motivation in any redesign of a tip.
I'm not a metal worker and don't understand the entire manufacturing process. But, I imagine that the tip starts as a solid tube and metal is removed to have the...
Deleting content for "community guidelines" is a pussy move.
YouTube needs to grow some f#@king balls. Either say, "this is allowed or this isn't". But, citing "community guidelines" is like some judgmental douchebag that calls the cops on the neighbors and says, "oh, no. I don't have a problem...
@Scuba Steve Tokes I don't think you'd be very satisfied with Dynavap.
It's a fantastic device. However, I feel it would not serve the purposes of a medical user with limited mobility needing immediate neuropathic pain relief. You may be better served by a whip based desktop device.
I only use it as an adapter on my mega globe.
Never have used it as an actual 'mouthpiece'.
Oh, and I 'll have you know - it's a box of junk, not a drawer, thank you very much.
Fav set up: Simrell Stinger in an '18 M Cvap stem with a 19 SS tip and first generation low-temp cap. Single torch flame.
Runner up: Omni Hyrdravong XL, 77 fin, and once again - low temp cap. Alcohol lamp.
@FlyingLow I agree. I've had better luck with cheapos than the expensive ones.
IMO anything over $15 is expensive and I've wasted a LOT of money on expensive torches that just do not work with the needs of a vapcap.
I wanted to let you guys know about a great little torch lighter I picked up on Amazon for $10, free shipping. I don't know how to post links, sorry. If you're interested, search "firebird hookah" in Amazon.
IMO, an excellent pocket carry lighter for DV.
