3 is about as high as you should go with flowers. Anything beyond that, there is the possibility of combustion. 3-5 is good for concentrates. Enjoy @Dr. Plutonious and @Enchantre
Comparing the units based on what temp the dial produces wouldn't be an accurate depiction of the full temp range improvement on the EVO. The OG Clouds (if anyone remembers) didn't have a linear power band (that time on purpose) and your EVO's top end should be higher than your OG's top end...
Elmo - what temp do you usually use yours at? That trick works for the noon position but if you are going to be in "turbo mode" (beyond 3pm on the dial) it will take the 10-15 to fully saturate the unit with heat.
It's actually the thermal mass absorbing heat so even as the heater is cooling down, the insulator is absorbing heat that ultimately get reflected back into the heater core
The green light is to show when you "should" start seeing some vapor but the quickest way to warming up the unit (without combusting) is to pre-heat at 3pm, when it turns green, turn it back to the noon position and then wait for the green light. The unit should be fully saturated with heat at...
Understandable. All the improvements we are making on the US units are being tested in parallel with our international units. We should have some news to share later this week on shipment dates for international customers.
Not quite yet but we have a big batch going out this week and another big batch prepped for next week that should get us all caught up with IGG. We had a few elves go on vacation and some that got hit with the holiday bug so the last couple of batches were a bit smaller than our usual but they...
No, the max temp on the EVO is higher. Some of the EVOs (not all) for whatever reason, the temp dial power range is condensed in a certain area. The min/max is the same but sometimes the majority power band can be from 9-10 or 1-2 (or insert whatever variation you like here) but at the end of...
You should get very light vapor around the noon position. I use mine around 1 ish myself right now. The firmware fix is to fix the way the temp responds to the changes in the knob, not the min/max temperature. You guys have a year on your warranty so if you want to hold onto your unit and...
Happy New Year everyone! I'm very thankful that we were able to launch last year and get back on our feet! We are very much looking forward to a rockstar 2014 and can't wait to show everyone what we have in store the new year. This is always a good time to self reflect and I would love to...
We are getting very close to getting the international unit out. We are updating it with the latest firmware and doing some additional testing.
Onto other news...for those that need a refresher on how to use their EVO or just want to prep before getting their EVO, here is our new...
I think that these are all legitimate concerns but from our perspective things are going according to plan. We procured the services of a manufacturing consultant prior to this launch on what to expect and the best method to launch. Based on the feedback we've been getting in aggregate, we are...
Hopefully before either of those. We're just really concentrating on fulfilling orders right now but I've been playing around with prototypes already. It already works but we want to tweak it a bit so that it has less of tendency to get messy.
Hmm, this is the first I heard that people are...
The short answer is "yes" but the more complete answer is that the way you guys are doing concentrates today, two cap method, mini elb, etc etc will not be required when our concentrates attachment comes out. It brings the concentrate closer to the heat source so crazy temps won't be required.
