Likewise. I'm of the mind now that if they work they work. My backups became my daily drivers so while a working hopper will always be welcome I now know I can survive without one. Progress of a kind
My canned is shit so I tried tyre Air and it worked for a while then died.
Olivia shipped my 2 hoppers last Friday and she told me that they were the 230th and 233rd hoppers she has sent since they started shipping. That includes warranties and new orders. 1 RMA that Hopper labs received on...
1st March. I think Cheesequake ordered a day before me and received one last week so I'm not sure about the claim that they are fulfilling orders in the order they received them!
Olivia just responded to me
Hi Joe,
My apologies I had not replied, I was out of the office. I can have your Grasshopper sent out today.
Kind regards,
Olivia
Hopefully its not an empty promise. Still saying processed but I'm not sure how much of an indicator that is. I must say that I'm...
I've an omnivap that's not far off what a hopper can do and recently purchased a Tubo Evic which can blow it out of the water. Unfortunately it's not very portable and the omnivap needs butane so the grasshopper has its place but I've learnt the hard way not to rely on it
I always take a huge rip during warmup and immediately set it to cruise at 190°C then increase at 5 or 10° increments for maybe 6 to 8 minutes. Never chars like that
My last 2 hoppers only worked at 4 or 5. I had a stainless once that produced clouds at every temp. Then it died. There is no standard grasshopper it seems. Hopefully this makeover will give us a bit of badly needed consistency and reliability. Otherwise I think we'll all go mad:bang:
