I have been using 2ohm carts on mine at all voltages, burned up two so far. I've been using it for about a month now too. The odd part is that I hold the button what seems like 30sec. Letting the cart cool between high voltage rips is almost a must, at any ohm rating.
The change was an on/off switch by pressing the button five times fast. I have seen it in the longer and shorter batteries. Nothing else changed as far as I know.
How bad of a leak? Many ways to address this.
1. Pull harder
2. Don't prime without pulling
3. Don't store it in a warm/hot place
A small amount of oil is common. If drops of oil leak often then the seal is gone or the cart is damaged in some way.
I've melted out a cart with a lighter and refilled, no issues. It may have been luck....
I'm pretty sure all companies cover their ass with warnings that are more serious then needed.
That sucks, I hope they contact you soon. There is a big difference between companies trying to make a buck and the ones who are here for the patients. It would appear Atmos just wanted your money, not to help.
I have a buddy who's button fell of within 5 days after getting it at the CHAMPS show.
No, not a knockoff. There was a slight change that made the button an on/off switch with 5 quick button presses. It's more of a child safety lock than anything. If you don't like the feature and you have one with that feature just turn it on and forget about it.
