Thanks for all the advice and help guys. I've slightly recovered today although it still hurts... I'm going to order on of those dhgate ones for the meantime while I search around to see if I can get mine repaired (thanks for the links). I don't think I'll be able to as it's a pretty horrid...
Yes I am still feeling somewhat sick:( It's like loosing a girlfriend that you took for granted but when she's gone you suddenly realise how much she meant to you:ugh: Thinking back now I did order the tube from vapexhale- straight after they released the evo in the UK, I too think it's a...
Gosh I hope it's not- I paid £165 for the thing! It came either direct from Vapexhale or possibly their supplier in the uk. So it should be legit, the glass is pretty thick, isn't that the sign of a decent tube?
I didn't even realise that dhgate did hydratubes, I thought they were all bongs in...
Just knocked my hydratube off the desk:cry: It did a slow motion double somersault and managed to land on the metal desk leg instead of the nice soft carpet... It now looks like this--->
Does anyone think this could be repaired? I know it's a long shot but I am pretty heartbroken. Maybe a...
Just to let you guys know that it's probably better to get your units from a distributor or you will be paying import duty/VAT again- I had to pay another £70 tax on the test Evo that I was sent recently even after having already paid it on the my initial Evo, which is broken and which the...
Good evening chaps! Just thought I'd pop a quick post here- for the past few weeks I've had the honour of testing one of the latest batch of Evos. Didn't want to jump the gun and post anything to get folk excited before the release was finalised but as they seem to be sending them out soon I...
Don't worry polvoman, I imagine it's easy to forget questions after a session with the Evo:-) Vapexhale did say that they would be distributing through Vapefiend so I am sure that it still the case. It doesn't make a huge amount of difference anyway and I'm sure that we'll find out soon!
Good news on the testing and thanks PM on behalf of all us internationals starved for news of the Evo!
Did you ask Vapefiend whether he would be the one sending the units out to us?
I'm not that concerned if there are a few niggles with the unit (although obviously I'd prefer it to be...
Aha! I finally discover why some people are getting update emails and some aren't...
I never logged a ticket for my faulty Evo for the same reason as most- there was a problem with every single international Evo (and each will have to be replaced) and therefore I assumed that Vapexhale would...
Thanks for the good news polvoman! Hopefully it won't be long now. I seem to recall Vapexhale stating that if testing went ok they would be sending out our units to Vapefiend for distribution, could you ask him if this is still the case? Might save on some customs duties if they do.
I'm still waiting too- having held on for so many months now what's a few more...
Whilst I have been very frustrated with the delays, now that Vapexhale are better at keeping us in the loop I am a lot more contented and prepared to be patient.
At the end of the day I know that the Evo is an...
Fair enough, rules is rules. Please forgive my poor choice of words- I assure you it is only due to the frustration of still waiting for something a year after I've paid a small fortune for it. I love the Evo and have supported Vapexhale right from the start but this situation is really getting...
I don't think that my post is breaking the rules, I'm certainly not accusing Vapexhale of lying to us and I didn't intend to suggest that Vapexhale themselves are incompetent- as we can all see the US version of the Evo has been a thorough success and looks like a wonderful device. I just mean...
Brilliant. So the incompetence continues- I got an email three weeks ago saying that they were going to send out the units for further testing in the next day or two and here we are in July, Vapefiend hasn't received anything yet and there have been no further updates from Vapexhale. I don't...
Yeah but what does this actually mean?? From my reading of it instead of the Evos being nearly ready to send out (as has been intimated on a number of occasions), we are now going to have to wait until they have been dispatched to international distributors (not customers) and tested again...
Well at least they are keeping us up to date which is better than nothing I suppose. No idea when the 220V version will be ready though.
The waiting continues. I do have an Evo shaped paperweight on my desk to gnash my teeth at while I slowly descend into old age...:rip:
Has anyone else had an update from Vapexhale? Apparently they are not sending out the 110V units with an adapter now cause they cannot guarantee that these will work either due to frequency variation.
