Hello friend! Took a quick measurement, and the elev8r male joint is between 8mm - 8.5mm. Also, it's an unground joint. I wish it was a tad longer. Another 1.5mm isn't a lot, but if it was a full 10mm, it would feel more stable for sure. I've seen 14/10 taper male joints before but not 19/10...

Congrats homie on the beautiful new vape acquisition! It looks gigantic! ;) In my Runt, I use the disk nipple down. In my flip brick, I had to put it in nipple up. Start with the nipple pointing down and go from there if you need to change it up. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it...

A few posts up is your answer friend! Flat head screwdriver and pliers. Take your time and adjust a little as you go. Wrap the tools in masking tape to help prevent scrapes/scratches to the coil. :rockon:

@invertedisdead the elev8r heater doesn't directly work with a 16mm coil without adjustment. All the coils used for elev8r have to be stretched and massaged a bit to work properly. Which is why we are here! Glass vape meant for a direct drop in to an off the shelf coil! :rockon:

You'd have to account for the thermal expansion of the metal spheres, otherwise you're gonna crack the glass. :rockon: @MileHighHuman I think he's currently using a 20mm coil with a 19mm diameter vape.

I've thought about this as well and the best idea I could come up with is a high temp "pouch". Like something made from high temp silicone or something. I haven't put this into practice yet cause I don't travel with my Elev8r. Only an idea I've had. :rockon:
