I'm a lot more concerned about the back end heating, which is not normal, than the mouthpiece heating, which IS normal. Pretty sure that's what Fizznuggets was talking about too...

I don't know if I'd look at it as heavy usage is killing them so much as "you have X number of cycles before this fault manifests itself". (Not on every single unit, just those that eventually fail). Then again, shit like back end just falling off, who even knows...?

There's preorders from like 3 months ago that have an estimated ship date of August, but as a backer from 2013, I'm September? Mines just SS too, so I don't think there's anything to the theory that Ti causes more of a delay. Fuck that shit....

Nikcorda is referring to "Please consult the website for updated estimated shipping info later this coming week." They said that on Sat. Week's not over yet though!

The June 15th update said they were expecting to be making 1000/week by the end of July. That did not happen :) That was way before they hired any additional workers. Hopefully the fact that we are hearing about more and more shipping confirmations means that they are speeding up assembly....

None shipped yet, only address conformation emails....

OF COURSE it's quite vague, that's their signature style.... If you want a theory about why it's going so slow, how I think it's at least partly what they said- it takes a lot longer to assemble than they thought it would.
