Just stopping by to say I'm about 5 months in to daily FW8 use and I still love it. I think the extra capsules and two batteries make for easy regular use. I don't use a tool to take out the capsules anymore, though I still prefer a scoop for packing. Great device, well made and beautiful...

I'm a little more than three weeks in to using my firewood 8 daily. I bought tweezers and used them pretty religiously for a little while, then kind of fell off. In my experience they're not necessary for how I use the firewood. I tamp my capsules and then just drop them in the chamber. Nothing...

FW9 looks beautiful. I got the 8 less than a month ago and I'm still thinking about the 9. I probably won't do it since I don't mind the battery packs at all. If the 9 is internally identical to the 8, it's a great vape!

I didn't like scooping with the capsule, thought that was the fussy part. Might just be big hands. I also like to tamp it!

Just to echo moondog, when I ordered my FW8 I asked about the travel capsules. Marc let me know he was adding more to the shop and told me if I ordered them he'd refund the shipping and include them in the box with my FW8. Marc seems to be great about responding

I've only used it twice now, but I'm in love with the FW8. Powerful, great flavor, good-looking and easy to use. This is only my second vape and I'm just blown away.
