Yeah I got an email from them saying apologies, please send it in with a note explaining the issue. And it had a pdf of a DHL shipping label attached, I didn't do it through the website though I just emailed them.
Hello all! Hope you're good this sunny Sunday. Quick update on my situation - my tinymight arrived in Finland on the 24th of Feb and was back in my arms on the 17th march, fixed and working better than ever. I swear it's actually hitting harder now. So it seems not all customer service tales are...
I could definitely wedge it into place to get it working again for now, but when that bodge breaks, the entire button will fall off and possibly short something out on the board :(
Cheers for the reply :) yeah from what I can see the back three solder points are the actual ground, power and switched connections, and the front ones are just solder points to help with structural support. My back 3 connections are still OK - the front ones have totally snapped. Obviously not...
Yup yup, prize goes to... Haha.
It's not actually the connections broken I don't think. Just the support. But either way, not something I can do and expect an RMA after. But, if I do get ignored, I can fix it.
Yep definitely right place, website stuff was totally my fault haha. I remembered what I did by going through emails and Instagram messages, and it's no fault of TM. I ordered as guest by accident then registered the same email address later on hoping they could link it to my order. So I've just...
This is not what I wanted to hear but thankyou - tbh even if I hold the button in place and shake it, there's a rattle that I never noticed before. So probably not a happy bunny. I'll still take a peek at the button while I await their reply. It's a damn stroke of luck that I got a tetra x 2...
Hey guys :) so my tinymight broke today :( I think it should be a simple fix but I wanted to check with you guys first. The button is completely loose. Just wiggles and pushes all the way in without doing anything. On e cigs (Vape shop worker) this usually means the little rubber buffer between...
Yeah I'm not claiming to know better than the creator, just going off my own experience and quick maths. The VTC definitely wore out faster for me. Both the included one and the spare 2 which I bought from a reputable supplier.
The max continuous rating is 15a with no thermal controls in...
I never checked it with a meter I just did I=P/E, so with losses and inefficency etc it could be a bit more or less. Should get the clamp meter out actually...
current=power (70w) divided by voltage (4.2v) = 16.6666667a
That would definitely be my guess as to why!
At full power, back of the napkin maths puts the tinymight at a 16.666a draw. So slightly over the capability of a Vtc6 (15a). But batteries in the TM get rather hot, which is why I think the vtc's get worn so quickly even mildly over run. It's best to give it a good bit of overhead in my...
Ah sorry I misunderstood. That sounds about normal. Might get 6 bowls from a battery on a good day. When they're proper worn you get like 1-2 bowls per battery.
No it was vtc6 I used, then I went straight to the molicells p26a, I highly recommend batteries from them, I use the p42 in my e cig and they're amazing too.
Sounds to me like your battery is definitely worn. How long have you had it? Did you used to get more bowls? I get 4-5 bowls on setting 6-7.
Tetra X is same heater as p80 but you screw it onto your own e cig mod.
Yeah the tinymight definitely rips through 18650s, I bought vtc's first and they were worn out in a month or two, I got molicell p26a after that and they've lasted 4 months so far.
Have you been dropping the cells in to...
